Dr. Stefanie M. Thomas, DPM
Dr. Stefanie M. Thomas is a dedicated and highly experienced podiatrist proudly serving patients at Premier Foot Clinic in Clinton, Mississippi. A native of Raymond, MS, Dr. Thomas has spent more than 30 years committed to advancing foot care across her home state.
She earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University/College of Podiatric Medicine in 1996 and completed her surgical residency at Mercy Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, in 1998. Further strengthening her leadership and business expertise, she obtained an Executive MBA from the University of New Orleans in 2003.
Dr. Thomas specializes in the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds, limb preservation and salvage, neuropathy and nerve care, fungal nail infections, and advanced REMY laser treatment. She is certified in the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds and is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. Her hospital affiliations include Merit Health Central, Merit Health Rankin, and Merit Health River Region.
A respected leader in her profession, Dr. Thomas serves on the podiatry executive committee as a liaison to the Mississippi Board of Medical Licensure and is a board member of the Mississippi Podiatric Medical Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. Her professional memberships include the American Podiatric Medical Association, the National Podiatric Medical Association, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Professional Wound Care Association.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Thomas volunteers at Stewpot Community Services and is an active member of the Junior Civic League of Clinton. She remains passionate about delivering compassionate, comprehensive care that helps patients stay mobile, healthy, and confident.
